Stephane , a seasoned veteran in the hospitality business, brings a wealth of experience and successes to this position. As General Manager, Stephane is responsible for overseeing all of the associates and operations at The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort, which includes 100 villas, 3 restaurants, 2 bars and 250 associates. In its third year, The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort is regarded as one of the world's leading resorts, embodying the legendary St. Regis legacy and romantic spirit of French Polynesia.
Prior to this position, Stephane was the General Manager of The Sunset Beach Resort, an ultra-luxury resort in Saudi Arabia. Stephane was responsible for overseeing the complete hotel operation which included over 600 associates, nearly 200 villas and 12 food and beverage outlets. Under his management and direction the resort generated monthly and yearly profits for the first time since its opening. In this position, Stephane and the resort were awarded the Prestigious Best Resort in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from World Travel Award. The resort also maintained its Mobile Five Star, AAA Five Diamond status under Stephane's leadership.
Stephane began his career in hospitality working as a Headwaiter at the Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath, England, and then went on to hold the position of Food & Beverage Operations at two other properties in the United Kingdom, including at the Savoy Group's Lygon Arms Hotel. Stephane moved to Lebanon with Intercontinental Hotels prior to holding the position of Resident Manager at the Belle Mare Plage & Beau Rivage in Mauritius and then Director of Food & Beverage at Shangri-La Mactan Island Resort & Spa in the Philippines. Stephane has over twenty-five years of experience in the luxury hotel industry, including ten years of experience in five-star hotel operations in Lebanon, Mauritius, the Philippines and Saudi Arabia. A graduate of Lycee Technique et Hotelier de Dinard in France, Stephane hold a Professional and Technical Diploma in Cuisine and Restaurant Operation as well as a Hotel Management Degree. Stephane is fluent in both French and English.
