Sheraton Universal Hotel in the heart of Hollywood moviemaking received its own red carpet treatment with the recent completion of a $30 million renovation that put a new shine on the “Hotel of the Stars.” The iconic hotel's 451 guest rooms and suites enjoy views of Universal Studios and the Hollywood Hills, as well as 32-inch flat-screen TVs, iHome clock radio/iPod docking station, Shine by Bliss bath amenities, and wireless Internet. Guests mingle in the stylish lobby cabana and around the heated outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, and lively Baja Pool Bar.

Business meetings and corporate events play a starring role at the Sheraton Universal Hotel, which features 17 meeting rooms including the 5,607-square-foot rooftop Starview Room with 180-degree views of Hollywood. A complimentary tram serves Universal Citywalk and Universal Studios Hollywood.

Restrooms are very far away from function space. Check-in staff can be arrogant and rude, though banquet staff is WONDERFUL.
