Elite Overview

The Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel reopened January 22, 2010, after a brief hiatus and decades of delighting families visiting Fort Lauderdale. Formerly the Sheraton Yankee Clipper Hotel, the landmark property still sports a playful seagoing design and prime location beside the Florida sand and sea. At the same time, Sheraton's multimillion-dollar transformation upgraded everything from the expanded pool deck and infinity-edge pool to the fitness center, 492 guest rooms and suites, and 7,500 square feet of meeting space.
Guests not attending catered events in the Clipper Ballrooms, Point Room, or Captain's Board Room enjoy dining and entertainment at the 1950s-style Clipper Diner, poolside Baja Beach Bar & Grill, Link@Sheraton Internet cafe, and signature Wreck Bar—which showcases porthole views into a swimming pool with the occasional mermaid floating by.
