The Sheraton Atlanta Hotel's bold modern lines, bright primary colors, and million-dollar art collection put a fresh new face on an industry favorite in the heart of Atlanta's central business district. Recognized for decades as the hotel headquarters of choice for corporate meetings and conventions in downtown Atlanta, the Sheraton has invested more than $70 million in capital improvements. The recent $20 million spent on guest rooms allowed the hotel to introduce downtown's only Queen-Queen room type and leading green initiatives.
The addition of a 50,000-square-foot conference center brought the grand total to 90,000 square feet of flexible, high-tech meeting space. Flanked by two towers containing the 763 newly renovated accommodations, the conference rooms occupy three contiguous floors, all with access to street-level loading docks. The seasoned events staff handle everything from small executive meetings to trade shows and general assemblies of up to 2,000 delegates with their signature touch of Southern hospitality.
Beyond custom catering, the food and beverage options extend from Deli Collage to Fandangles, with fine dining on Executive Chef Steve Jamison's Southern Evolution cuisine. Fandangles overlooks the hotel's gracious Savannah-style half-acre Garden Courtyard and swimming pool with retractable roof. Just outside the front doors, guests find the Georgia World Congress Center, Peachtree Center, Philips Arena, Centennial Olympic Park, Georgia Dome, and more than 500 Zagat-rated restaurants.

One of my favorite hotels strictly because of the Convention Services experience. My larger meetings have outgrown this property but I will always send my smaller meetings to the Sheraton Atlanta when Atlanta is on our calendar. I have never heard a single negative comment from our contacts that travel to this hotel and the Sheraton Atlanta has some great suite options.
