Delegates live like the honored guests of a private estate at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa. Set at the base of Camelback Mountain in Phoenix, Arizona, near Scottsdale, the resort and its original Spanish Mediterranean–style mansion began in 1929 as a millionaire's winter retreat. Additions and renovations over the last 80 years preserved the Old World charm, now joined by four-diamond amenities and a staff of three members per guest.
An emphasis on style, intimacy, and stateliness distinguishes everything from the 119 designer guest rooms—including 26 suites, 46 casitas, and 4 villas—to the four regal meeting rooms, lush landscaping, royal palms, citrus trees, outdoor fireplaces, and mother-of-pearl swimming pool. Because the resort specializes in smaller gatherings, groups experience the award-winning T. Cook's restaurant as if at a private dining table. The chef crafts every seasonally inspired menu to bring out its individual taste and freshness. In fact, personalized touches set every event in a category all its own.
Guests between meetings claim private cabanas at the pool, face off on the croquet lawn, and indulge at the Alvadora Spa, which features ten treatment areas, heated stone tables with overhead showers, a watsu pool with eight-foot grotto waterfall, a full-service salon, and a 24-hour fitness center. For group activities, an in-house destination services staff provides one convenient contact for team building and spouse programs, recreation, and excursions to a limitless choice of area attractions.

The staff and accommodations were excellent, bar none. The resort is a beautiful, relaxing setting in the middle of Camelback Mountain. The resort's restaurant has an award winning Iron Chef on staff. I highly recommend this resort for any stay, whether personal or business.

I've been receiving an unprecedented amount of rave reviews—the partners and their spouses were thrilled with Royal Palms. The service was second to none, and our guests' needs were met on every level.

I was a pharmaceutical representative and we had a meeting here. It's was one of the most memorable places I visited. The environment is very relaxing and charming. In between meetings we could step outside and feel the dry heat of the desert which was a nice change. The meeting spaces were perfect - especially the smaller break-out rooms we used. Overall a great environment to conduct business. Highly recommend this place for your next meeting.

The Montevista rooms are nice. The Casitas and Designer Rooms are a little older. There is a beautiful restaurant on property.
