Accolades rain down on Rough Creek Lodge and Resort, located just outside of Glen Rose, Texas, 90 minutes from the Dallas–Fort Worth International Airport.
Condé Nast Traveler's Gold List ranks it as one of the best places to stay in the world.
Zagat calls it the kind of lodge “where nobility comes in from the hunt and celebrates in grand style.”
The lodge's 39 guest rooms and suites, cabins, and a 7,000-square-foot Owner's House juxtapose rustic ambience with chic sophistication. A modern conference center hosts up to 100 guests. Between meetings, meeting and incentive guests look to Rough Creek's list of 82 things-to-do, which includes hunting, fishing, a zip line, climbing wall, and horseback riding. Another highlight: Accommodations, award-winning dining and customized team building, like the GPS Navigational Challenge, come at one price.

In 2005 we had our sales & marketing meeting at Rough Creek Lodge. Today we still talk about how well we enjoyed it. The food still today, has been the best food anyone of us have had. The rooms, staff, everything was top notch. The only downfall is the location. If you are looking at golf, shopping, this might not be the place. However, if you want to get away, enjoy an amazing spa, wilderness, some hunting, tennis, etc... this is an amazing place and highly recommended.
