While most resorts reserve the right to charge for every room night that goes unused, Wyndham Rio Mar is giving up that right by offering groups the "no attrition" promotion for up to 10
percent of rooms, where guests can change/reduce their room block without penalty/paying normal fees. Due to the recent economic concerns, Wyndham Rio Mar hopes to alleviate the stress of uncertainty when blocking room nights.

Group discounts are based on availability, and tax and resort service fees are not included. The special offer is not valid with any other discounts or for existing or tentative programs. To qualify groups need to guarantee room blocks 45 days prior to arrival, then 45 days until group's arrival date the group can reduce their guaranteed room block by 10 percent without penalty.

Wydham Rio Mar also allows guests the chance to customize their own concession program based upon the number of room nights utilized for each group. Guests that book 20 to 40 room nights can earn one benefit, 41 to 75 room nights earn two benefits and 76 or more room nights booked earn guests three benefits.

The benefit options include: 10% discount on food & beverage; complimentary one hour welcome reception for all attendees; one complimentary room per every 35 paid rooms; one complimentary upgrade to a suite per 50 paid rooms; three upgrades to suites at ROH rate; five VIP amenities; a 25 percent discount on 18 holes of golf or a 25 percent discount on spa treatments; a complimentary in-room welcome amenity for all attendees; one complimentary morning refreshment break & one afternoon break; a complimentary continental breakfast for all attendees; double Wyndham Rewards points and one complimentary staff room & breakfast per 35 paid rooms.

Offering more than 48,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space and 600 guest rooms, the Wyndham Rio Mar accommodates groups from 10 to 3,300.

Utilizing a comprehensive purification system designed by New York-based Pure Solutions NA, Wyndham ClearAir rooms undergo a multi-step cleaning process designed to remove 98 percent of allergens.

First, guest room walls, carpeting, bedcovers and fabrics are sanitized and treated with a long-lasting microbial shield, making them free from odors and resistant to bacteria and viruses. Next, a medical-grade air purification system is installed. Air-handling units and vents are deep cleaned and equipped with the companys signature tea tree oil cartridge, which acts as a natural antiseptic and disinfectant to maintain the sanitary conditions.
