U.S Green Building Recognizes Radisson Fort McDowell Resort As LEED Registered

“Radisson Fort McDowell Resort becomes the only full destination resort in Arizona to be recognized as LEED registered.”

Scottsdale, Arizona –The Radisson Fort McDowell Resort is now a registered Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) property by the U.S Green Building Council (USGBC).

The eco-friendly Scottsdale resort is currently working towards obtaining the LEED Gold Certification by utilizing sustainable resources, recyclable materials, energy-saving products, and organic waste management.

The LEED registered Radisson Fort McDowell Resort features:

• Smoke-free facility to maintain the indoor environmental quality
• Using environmentally safe green cleaning products
• Recycling kitchen waste into compost for organic farming
• Conservation of water for storm-water management and irrigation system
• Working with venders who practice green initiatives
