Presidente InterContinental Ixtapa All-Inclusive Resort renovates itself to offer a fresher image and more comfortable and moderns guest rooms, after three decades of welcoming guests who have selected Ixtapa as their destination of choice.
The hotel began its renovation project earlier this year (2009), to stay on the cutting edge and guarantee that its guests continue to enjoy the top quality service that sets Grupo Presidente apart.
Completion of the first phase of renovation includes 126 guest rooms in the Resort's colonial villas, where it changed its traditional white color for attractive Mexican hues that enhance its colorful gardens.
New dcor provides the hotel with a fresher and more modern Mexican style. The guest rooms have been fully refurbished to feature luxurious white duvet bed covers, 32-inch plasma TV screens, and new bathrooms and safety boxes.
The resort also remodeled its banquet and convention halls by transforming them into modern and versatile styles, which include new light fixtures and intelligent lighting systems that make them the perfect venue for conventions or incentive trips.
It is important to note that the new restaurant facilities at the Presidente InterContinental Ixtapa All-Inclusive Resort were recently awarded the "Distintivo H" that rewards restaurants for their top quality and hygiene standards.
Restaurants at the Resort offer a wide array of gastronomic offerings, which include La Isla, La Terraza, Frutas & Flores, Kiosco, Caa Brava and Sushi & Martin that feature Mexican, Italian and French cuisine, in addition to fine cuts, among other food fares, to satisfy the most demanding palates.
Completion of the Resort's second phase of renovation is scheduled for November 2009 and includes 129 additional guest rooms and common areas, such as the gazebo, the Lobby Bar and restoration of its colonial fountains.
