Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & Spa

Surrounded by white-sand beaches, stunning coral reefs, and lush vegetation, Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & Spa offers a unique meeting destination on Mexico’s island of Cozumel. The five-star resort recently emerged from an extensive, multi-million dollar redesign that resulted in stylish public areas and 220 new rooms and suites boasting designer furnishings, wide-screen plasma TVs, and wireless Internet access.

Presidente InterContinental Cozumel hosts business events in a variety of venues, each accompanied by the theme and culinary creations of choice. Among the most popular sites on property, the resort’s private stretch of beach provides the perfect backdrop for a Mayan-style cocktail reception at sunset.

When meetings adjourn, guests can enjoy countless activities, whether they opt for a massage at the Mandara Spa, swim with dolphins at Chankanaab National Park, or tee off on the resort’s new putting green. Golf aficionados can also head to nearby Cozumel Country Club to play an 18-hole, par-72 championship course created by Nicklaus Design Group.

But that’s not all. The Presidente InterContinental specializes in scuba diving, offering both lessons and certification. A favorite on the activities menu: diving and snorkeling trips to Palancar Reef, the second-largest barrier reef in the world.
Planner Reviews
Our memories of the InterContinental Presidente Cozumel are overwhelmingly positive! The staff’s attention to detail, exquisite grounds, luxurious rooms, and the warm hospitality that makes Mexico so appealing, are all good reasons to hold an event at this resort. The staff really had our group in mind every step of the way.

Meeting coordinator insured every detail was done. Best staff that I had to deal with in any hotel. Very accomodating and generally congenial staff that greeted you by name. Sales, function space, food and management personnel were excellent to deal with. I definetly had a room with a beautiful view. Would love to go back.
