The vibrant poppy stucco of the adults-only Paraiso de la Bonita Resort and Thalasso blooms like a hibiscus blossom amid 14 acres of landscaped gardens and lush mangroves just 15 miles from Cancun along Mexico’s Riviera Maya. Playful Caribbean color schemes add magic to the 90 suites, which feature oversize tubs, rain-forest showers, and private oceanview terraces with plunge pools. The 1,400-square-foot Riviera Maya meeting facilities accommodate groups up to 70.
The 22,000-square-foot Thalasso Center & Spa at Paraiso de la Bonita Resort contributes one of the first European-style thalasso facility in North America. As its name implies (thalasso derives from the Greek word for ocean), treatments here incorporate warm salt water with its natural nutrients to replenish and rejuvenate. La Canoa restaurant easily awakens the inner gourmand.
