The focus on golf and recreation makes an ideal complement to the 70,000 square feet of meeting facilities at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. Part convention resort, part vacation mecca, the resort affords a perfect blend of business and pleasure in the ChampionsGate community of Orlando, Florida.
The largest meeting space, the National Ballroom, seats up to 2,600 delegates under 20-foot ceilings. It shares the same floor with the International Ballroom hosting up to 2,000. Prefunction areas outside each ballroom provide plenty of space for mingling, as do eight hospitality suites. Another 21 meeting rooms include two executive boardrooms—augmented
by more than 30,000 square feet of space for outdoor events.
Guests live in a choice of 720 luxurious rooms and suites, dine at five restaurants, and play at a 15-acre recreation area featuring an 850-foot lazy river, two pools with private cabanas, and a lighted nine-hole, par-3 golf experience. The par-3 course whets appetites for the two championship Greg Norman–designed courses surrounding the resort. Add the world headquarters of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, a European-style spa, and a 24-hour health club, and attendees find everything they could want without leaving the grounds.
Nevertheless, proximity to some of Florida's best-loved attractions rewards attendees who extend their stay. A complimentary scheduled shuttle carries guests to all four Walt Disney World theme parks just minutes away.

Although the hotel is lovely and there are a few hotel employees that truly care - there is not a culture of service among the staff. Banquet servers seemed to be reactive rather than proactive and he housekeeping staff was either understaffed or just lazy because they completely missed rooms or half-serviced rooms (even VIP rooms). I was very disappointed with the service levels, food and beverage quality, banquet servers, attention to detail and overall quality of our conference. I don't mind if I am the only person who knows if there are things going wrong behind the scenes, but when my attendees notice and comment on the evaluations, then there is a problem.

A 4-day leadership meeting was held at this property. Although the location was the maximum distance I would consider from the airport and off property venues, it was an advantage for this type of program. The hotel had great evening event space options without having to use the meeting space. Guests felt like we created different opportunities for networking within the frame of the program, specifically with evening events and a workroom/lounge area. The convention services staff was helpful and provided great service but I found it useful to speak directly with the chef when creating custom menus. The on-site staff reacted quickly to last minute requests.

Great property. I've used them for VIP corporate meetings as well as small incentives. Good location away from the chaos of Disney. Three good restaurants on-site. Lazy River. Good outdoor function space. Conference Service team is top notch! Definitely will use again.
