The Omni Mandalay has some shortcomings...but they are aware of this and do everything they can to make those items disappear. The biggest complaint I have of the property is something out of their control...and it's the location. While Irving is a great central location for the Dallas area, there is nothing to do, nowhere to go, and very limited dining choices once off property. There is a new development being built called WaterStreet and once that is in, the Omni Mandalay will be tough to beat.

Small things make a big impact here, like free coffee/beverage delivery for their Select Guest members. All the guest rooms are located within steps of the elevator banks (not close enough for noise to be an issue) so getting to and from your room is a breeze.

The conference staff is very accommodating and will truly become your partner while in house. No request really is too small for them.

Overall we had a great experience here and look forward to returning.

This is the preferred hotel for Business Objects in Dallas. They provide the best rate and service. They also have a free shuttle service. This is my favorite hotel to work with. Meredith Fain is tops and makes a big impact on working with the Omni.
