Located amid the energy and excitement of Times Square, New York Marriott Marquis attracts discerning meeting and conference groups. One of the largest hotels in the city, the hotel boasts a glitzy 37-story atrium lobby, 1,949 guest rooms and suites, and 101,450 square feet of meeting space. Soundproofed accommodations feature spacious marble bathrooms, Marriott's signature Revive Collection bedding, and views of Times Square and the Manhattan skyline.

Meeting planners can choose from 54 function rooms including the 29,025-square-foot Broadway Ballroom. Conveniences include a full-service business center and high-speed wired and wireless Internet access. Groups can dine at five on-site restaurants including the city's only rooftop revolving restaurant, The View Restaurant & Lounge. Many guests choose to end the day with a workout at the glass-enclosed, 3,500-square-foot fitness center with panoramic city views.

Location ... Location ... Location. Step out of the hotel into the heart of Times Square. It can't get any better than that.

The property is a little confusing at first (lobby level is the 8th floor), but our international group (9 different countries) enjoyed the property and location. The staff was extremely accommodating with all requests, and the food was excellent.

This was our first joint convention with one of our national partners, so instead of 500 attendees we had 1,500. The members were so amazed at the success of this convention from the hotel service, location, accommodations, as well as the special events that we held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and at other museums, that we set the bar so high for our future meetings that it set the challenge for us to deliver.

The hotel was fabulous for the exception of the slow elevators, but in order to compensate for that slight difficulty, we just built a few extra minutes in between the sessions, so it proved extremely helpful to our attendees.
