Naples, Fla. March 14, 2008 " The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has recognized Naples Grande Beach Resort in the Florida Green Lodging program with a One Palm Designation. The voluntary state initiative provides the lodging industry with technical assistance, encouraging hotels and motels to adopt cost-saving green practices that reduce waste and conserve natural resources.

Naples Grande has recently undergone a remarkable eco-friendly conversion. Our newly-recognized Green Lodging resort purchases 5% power from the environmentally friendly Florida Power & Light. As one of the few Green Power Partners in Collier County, Naples is dedicated to preserving the remarkable habitats and surroundings of Southwest Florida, reducing impact, and implementing green policies throughout all areas of the Resort, from guest recycling programs to energy management, water conservation, clean air filters, and much more.
