Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
A boardroom, two dining rooms, lobby lounge and terrace, garden, teak pool deck, and twelfth-floor indoor-outdoor ballroom host groups of up to 350 people at Mr. C Beverly Hills. The C in the name of the hotel, which opened June 1, 2011, refers to the developers' family name: Cipriani. The Cipriani legend began at Harry's Bar, Harry Cipriani's first watering hole in Venice.
Spearheaded by fourth generation brothers Maggio and Ignazio, this latest expression of hospitality from the Ciprianis combines exquisite modern-Italian decor and a youthful California lifestyle. The lobby, for instance, mixes rosewood, Murano chandeliers, and black-and-white photos by the photojournalist Giuseppe Palmas. While the rooms resemble luxury yachts, the restaurant recalls the original Cipriani restaurant in New York. It features Cipriani signatures like beef carpaccio, baked tagliarelli with mushrooms, even Bellinis served in Murano-blown tumblers.
