The Molino Stucky Hilton Venice opened in 2007 on the Giudecca, an island less than five minutes by complimentary shuttle boat from the Piazza San Marco. The name derives from the building’s former incarnation as a waterfront flour mill and pasta factory owned by Giovanni Stucky. Splendidly restored, the imposing redbrick facade welcomes guests to the oldest gothic revival building in Venice.
The original beams and mullioned windows set off a classic decor of Venetian fabrics, Murano chandeliers, and marble fixtures in 379 accommodations. Modern comforts include everything from air-conditioning to sumptuous bedding to Wi-Fi in all suites and public areas. The executive rooms and suites furnish extra space and amenities, including complimentary food and beverage in a private lounge.
The hotel boasts the largest meeting venue in Venice. Known as the Congress Center, it invites up to 1,000 attendees to gather in a generous prefunction area, column-free ballroom, and 14 smaller conference rooms. While a dedicated meeting manager takes care of logistics behind the scenes, a state-of-the-art business center supports conference goers and individual travelers alike.
Delegates seeking the most breathtaking view of Venice imaginable can visit the rooftop pool, Sky Lunch Pool Restaurant, or Skyline Bar. With two more bars and two more gourmet restaurants, as well as a 6,400-square-foot spa, the hotel well deserves its reputation as one of the most up-to-date of timeless treasures in the Venetian Lagoon.
