RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Immediate Release) " The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside, California, just announced that, due to its widespread popularity and success, the Inns owners, Duane and Kelly Roberts, are investing another $15 million into freshening up all aspects of the resort hotel. Centered on keeping the Inns eccentric chic design, the project incorporates brightly colored tapestries, carpets and wall coverings that revolve around a floral motif.
We are delighted to announce the renovation occurring at the Mission Inn further cements the popular Inn into the 21st Century, said Duane R. Roberts, owner of the Mission Inn. The enhancements weve made will continue to create a special and unique experience " leveraging the best in modern day technology paired with the eclectic design elements the Inn is known for.
The Inn is currently halfway finished with its plans for renovation. To date, 114 guestrooms located on the third and fourth floors have been completed designed to keep with the current look of the Inn by integrating fresh and lively colors with updated stylish furnishings. An additional 13 junior suites will be completed by September. Floral motifs on a backdrop of bright oranges, yellows and greens create a welcoming and warm environment for guests. Modern amenities including flat panel TVs and Internet access have been integrated into the furnishings for convenience. Bathrooms have been updated with fresh colors and hand-painted decorative floor tiles while imported handcrafted mirrors adorn the vanity.
Additionally, the Inn has expanded its popular spa, Kellys Spa, with two additional massage rooms, two rooms for therapeutic baths and a spacious womens only relaxation room that includes a cozy fireplace and plush chairs to relax in.
The scope of the renovation also includes freshening up all the meeting and conference rooms including the Music Room, Spanish Art Gallery, Galleria, Santa Barbara Room and the Monterey Room. All conference rooms feature axminister carpets imported from England, brand-new paint and window coverings, as well as new ceiling drapery in the Spanish Art Gallery and upholstered wall panels in the Music Room.
The AAA four-diamond Duanes Prime Steaks and Seafood has also been given a face-lift, adding handmade stained glass windows, new banquettes, tapestries, carpeting, and wall coverings, brightening up the steakhouse. In addition, the Mission Inn Restaurant has added an exhibition kitchen to the recently enhanced interior, while the newly opened Southern-style Italian Bistro, Bella Trattoria, uses design elements reminiscent of an Italian caf with rustic stone, tile and faux painting to capture the essence of Italy.
