Although it's something of a tongue-twister, the Marriott Dallas/Addison Quorum by the Galleria's name manages to incorporate two of its major incentives: being smack in the middle of the entertaining Addison District and within a credit card's throw of the upscale Galleria shopping complex. The 536 guest rooms and 11 suites feature down comforters, duvets, flat-panel TVs, and high-speed Internet access. Suites on the three concierge levels offer plug-and-play electronics panel, lounge access, and turndown service. A connecting indoor-outdoor pool and fitness center keep active guests happy.

The newly renovated, 18,212-square-foot conference center at the Marriott Dallas/Addison Quorum features the 1,000-seat Grand Ballroom, 27 meeting rooms, and 25 breakout rooms for corporate events and business meetings of all sizes. After hours, the nearby Improve Comedy Club serves laughs nightly.
