Just 18 boat slips away from the San Diego Convention Center, the 1,625-room Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego serves as a first-class meeting site all its own. The hotel's versatile, 125,000 square feet of function space includes the largest hotel ballroom in all of Southern California plus a host of stylish boardrooms for executive gatherings. A staff well-versed in the art of meetings ensures the success of every event, grand or intimate.
The towering hotel lends a soaring profile to the San Diego skyline, right beside San Diego Bay. A short stroll away: the restaurants and shops of Seaport Village and the Gaslamp Quarter, hub of San Diego's nightlife. The San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Balboa Park, and Coronado Island make interesting diversions just minutes away. Of course, the property's own recreational offerings, including two tennis courts, two swimming pools, a full-service spa, and a health club overlooking the bay, mean guests can easily fill their time without ever stepping off-site. For onsite refreshment, guests choose among two fine restaurants, a bayfront bar, a lobby bar, and Top of the Hyatt. Set on the 40th floor, this exclusive lounge—voted best upscale bar in a readers' poll by SignonSanDiego.com—complements favorite beverages with spectacular city views.
Meeting planners with large groups welcome the synergy of San Diego's two largest ballrooms, just steps apart to facilitate an easy transition between conference and luncheon. Those planning exhibitions value the freight elevator, providing direct access to the ballrooms and exhibit pavilion. Everyone appreciates the comprehensive audiovisual offerings and such services as the Meeting Dividend Program, Meeting Connection, and Meeting Concierge, all thoughtfully designed to reward and assist planners.

You cannot beat the location and the luxury feel & look of this property in any other downtown location I have ever seen. Plus the meeting space is expansive and very versatile. We were able to get a great deal at the Manchester Grand for a 2010 meeting for 500 people and I have been trying very hard to place another conference there in 2012 because the convention services team was great and our attendees loved the hotel. Hopefully we will be back to the Manchester Grand Hyatt soon.

The property and views are beautiful. The lobby is impressive with the dark wood and marble registration area. Walk out the front of the hotel and walk to the gas light district. Walk out the back of the hotel and walk through the Seaport Village (dining, shopping, etc.).

We held our annual user conference here in June -- nearly 2,000 people. Our attendees were extremely complimentary about the location, the food, the hotel and we loved the staff, the attention to detail, the indoor and outdoor meeting space. We had our opening reception on the pool deck and it was amazing. We will be back.

Great location, close to the airport/15 minutes. Staff friendly and warm. Rooms very clean and no smell. Views of the bay were fantastic. Hotel is close to the convention center, 1.5 blocks so it was easy to move from one facility to another during the day depending on functions. Event captains were some of the best I've worked with, bending over backwards to make things happen quickly. Food was dynamite, restaurants were also full of friendly people willing to make your visit enjoyable.
