What do Elvis Presley, Barbara Streisand, Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, Michael Bublé, Diana Krall, and Barry Manilow have in common? Along with scores of other superstars, they all staged their Las Vegas shows at LVH — Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. Following more than 40 years of history-making events, a recent $100 million renovation ushered in a new generation of extraordinary entertainment, gaming, lodging, and meetings at the legendary hotel.
With a stop on the monorail line and a skywalk to the Las Vegas Convention Center, LVH also boasts more than 200,000 square feet of function space of its own, including the 70,000-square-foot Paradise Event Center, 43,130-square-foot Pavilion, and 35,000-square-foot Ballroom. Despite the vast scope of state-of-the-art meeting possibilities, the hotel takes great pride in its old-school approach to highly personalized service.
The commitment to no-holds-barred luxury in the renovation reached another pinnacle of sorts in the 2,956 accommodations, which range from chic and deluxe to downright decadent. In fact,
Luxury magazine declared all of the variously themed Sky Villas the ultimate guest rooms in town. Add three venues for live entertainment—the incomparable Theater, Shimmer Cabaret, and Tempo Lounge—the classic casino, world’s largest race and sports book, eight-acre rooftop pool deck, tennis club, fitness center, spa, and 19 bars and restaurants for a lineup of incentives to tantalize every group member’s taste.
The food was outstanding, the service impeccable, and everything in general was superb. Everyone raved about the food and what a wonderful facility the Hilton is.

Dear Mr. Salah,
I recently read that the Las Vegas Hilton just won the Gold Key Award for the twenty-second time. I must admit that I didn't understand how that was possible until I stayed at your hotel while attending the IAPPA convention two weeks ago.
We personally witnessed your top-notch hospitality training at its best. From the front desk personnel to the servers in the restaurants, it was obvious that you value courtesy, professionalism and a willingness to help. As you know, all HelmsBriscoe associates travel a lot and stay at the finest hotels and we are not that easy to please.
The food in the café and the cafeteria was beyond my expectations. It was excellent food in a casual atmosphere. I was served probably the best Eggs Benedict that I have ever had at breakfast one morning. The hotel room was immaculate and the bed a dream. The only problem I encountered in the entire hotel was my luck in the casino.
Rest assured, that I will recommend your hotel my all my clients. Congratulations on winning your most deserving Gold Key Award.

Hi Shari,
I want to thank you and your staff for the wonderful hospitality provided to myself and DS during our event Last week. You and your staff did a fabulous job and I was highly impressed with everything. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable, and everything in general was superb. Everyone raved about the food and what a wonderful facility the Hilton is.
I fell in love with your facility and am hoping DCS can hold another meeting there next year. Maybe I can make a trip myself in between!
Thanks again for everything. It was a delight meeting you and doing business with you.

“Our recent conference, Evolving Paradigms II: The Journey Home, was a huge success. It took a great deal of work by a large number of people. The Department of Veterans Affairs Employee Education System wishes to thank the staff of the Las Vegas Hilton for playing a large role in helping to achieve this success. The Hilton staff was immediately responsive to any last minute requests and went above and beyond to take care of our VIPs. In fact, the process of working with the Hilton staff from contract negotiation through the end of the conference was excellent!
The planning committee just completed a “debriefing” conference call, and all gave rave reviews to the hotel staff as well as the many others who were involved in making the conference the success that it was. The information disseminated at this important conference directly affects the care and treatment of our military personnel and our veterans. Thank you for helping to ensure that these deserving individuals receive the care they so richly deserve!”

Thank you for making our return to Las Vegas a success! You both were incredible and always of assistance. We appreciate your help, support and constant attention with the pre-planning and your commitment throughout the entire event.
We hosted approximately 1,500 dancers, teachers, and parents in Vegas this year! Because of you... our event ran smoothly and was a great experience for all of our guests. Our participants loved the hotel and ballrooms. It is important to us that every aspect of our event is first class, and we thank you for helping us achieve that goal. Please know that your efforts do not go unnoticed and that we are grateful to have had the pleasure of working with each of you!
We look forward to returning back to the Las Vegas Hilton in 2010. Again, thank you so much for your care and dedication towards our event.

New Las Vegas Hilton (LVH) Project Green Team Greens Guest Amenities
Posted 12 Jan, 2012 by Alex Marquez-Shaw
Sustainability and green business practices are more than a roll of the dice at the newly renamed LVH-Las Vegas Hotel and Casino (formerly the Las Vegas Hilton). In addition to the initiatives of its Project Green Team, the hotel will now be providing eco-friendly liquids and soaps from Concept Amenities, a global leader in the supply of environmentally responsible guest bath & body amenities.
Since 1969, the LVH has been one of the premier hotels in Las Vegas. Over the years, it has featured such legendary performers as Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand and Liberace. It has also served as a location for numerous television shows and films including the James Bond adventure, Diamonds Are Forever.
In recent years, the LVH-Las Vegas Hotel & Casino has taken the lead among local hospitality providers by revamping its operations to include such green initiatives as switching over to 98% eco-certified cleaning supplies, reducing paper usage through new technologies, using LED lights to reduce energy usage, and processing trash through a recycle belt upon collection.
“At the LVH, we take being ‘green’ seriously,” the hotel told participants when it hosted this year’s ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers) Winter Conference. “Our Project Green Team has accomplished a lot since 2009 and we look forward to many more green initiatives in the years to come.”
One of those initiatives is the hotel’s new partnership with Concept Amenities. Starting in 2012, each of the Las Vegas Hotel & Casino’s 2956 rooms and 305 suites will be furnished with Concept Amenities’ popular Kudos Spa brand of liquids and soaps in ERP® (Environmentally Responsible Product); a colorful array of 40ml tubes and elegant pleat-wrapped soaps.
“We looked at many different amenity lines before choosing Kudos Spa from Concept Amenities,” said Cami Christensen, vice president of Hotel Operations, LVH. “With a 3000-room hotel, the amount of waste that we can potentially contribute to a landfill each year is staggering. Therefore, finding a company that shares our deep commitment to minimizing the harmful effects of plastics on the environment was a very important part of our decision.”
Christensen elaborated that equally important to ‘being green’ was providing a high quality amenity to guests at an affordable price for the hotel. “The appearance, fragrance and packaging can add value to our guest’s experience. Kudos Spa has the look and feel we were searching for and, the quality our guests have come to expect.”
For nearly 30 years, Concept Amenities has been an innovator in providing the hospitality industry with the best of both worlds – environmentally responsible products and guestroom toiletries that entice and delight hotel guests.
But according to Michael Matulick, Concept Amenities CEO, guest amenities can be so much more than just toiletries: “We’re not just a supplier for the hospitality industry. We’re a trusted partner who plays an integral role in shaping our customers’ brand experiences. We are intrinsically linked to the creation of memorable guest experiences.”
