Loews Hotels plans to unveil its ultramodern new centerpiece for midtown Atlanta in April 2010. With an impeccable address on the Midtown Mile stretch of Peachtree Street, Loews Atlanta Hotel aims to honor the capital city with world-class architecture and local art, artifacts, and music from emerging and established artists and composers in the region. Dining options will focus on sophisticated Southern fusion cuisine, whether at the lobby bar, signature restaurant Jasmine's, or for banquets in the conference center's Ellington Ballroom.

The hotel's 25,000 square feet of meeting space includes the 11,000-square-foot Ellington Ballroom and 5,600-square-foot Mercer Ballroom, which includes room for 1,000 and a wall of windows overlooking Piedmont Park. Additional sunlit venues, including 6,000 square feet of prefunction space, ten additional breakout rooms, and the 5,000-square-foot outdoor terrace located high above Peachtree Street, energize and motivate attendees to peak performance. Meeting amenities in the works include a conference-level business center and two visiting planners' offices, the latest in audiovisual and communications support, massage-chair and Wii breaks, gourmet cooking classes, and group picnics and kite flying in nearby Piedmont Park.

The 414 guest rooms include 44 suites, all sporting floor-to-ceiling views of the Atlanta skyline. Comforts range from the finest bedding to oversized desks, from wireless Internet access to Keurig coffeemakers. Twice-daily housekeeping, 24-hour room service, and a well-connected concierge staff will join the tradition of service as the top priority at all Loews hotels. Guests can also count on popular brandwide programs like Breakfast at Loews, Loews Loves Kids, and Loews Loves Pets.

The Loews Atlanta has hosted several meetings for me and they never disappoint. They are always willing to work with me to customize and craft the perfect experience tailored to the group. The hotel is located in a hip midtown spot giving guests opportunity to explore outside the property as well. My guests always rave about this property.

We recently held our C-Level Executive Retreat at the Loews Atlanta Hotel. They did an amazing job! The attention they gave to this relatively small, but VIPPY VIP group was appreciated by me and my guests. The executive chef even met with me in advance of the meeting to help me plan and customize special menus for the group that allowed my special needs guests to dine with the group without feeling singled out or missing anything. The rest of the group didn't even know the difference. The conference services staff did a stellar job of accommodating this group and I look forward to the opportunity to host another event with the Loews Atlanta!
