At the headwaters of the Everglades, JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes spreads across 500 acres of lakes and waterways. This peaceful oasis not only provides 100,000 square feet of function space, but also proximity to Orlando's major theme parks.
Spanish-style architecture and picture-perfect views add a touch of elegance to the resort's 998 rooms and suites. All feature separate marble baths and showers as well as multiple data ports, fiber optic technology, and wireless Internet access.
Large groups easily gather under one roof thanks to the resort's three ballrooms, which total 78,000 square feet. Breakout sessions take place in 26 adjacent rooms, all conveniently located on one level. The warm Orlando sun plays a starring role at the 65,000 square feet of outdoor event space, with many venues situated near water features and the meandering, lazy river pool.
For a new off-hours option, the Orvis Fly-Fishing School supplies seminars, professional guides, and private eco-tours. Guests also have access to The Ritz-Carlton next door, where the palatial spa features 40 treatment rooms, a 4,000-square-foot lap pool, and a 6,000-square-foot fitness center. A Greg Norman-designed, 18-hole championship course spoils golfers with a caddie concierge program.
With five dining options led by Chef Melissa Kelly's Italian cuisine at Primo—plus six eateries at The Ritz-Carlton—Grande Lakes proves that variety is indeed the spice of life.
Planner Reviews

I rarely give all "10s" in a review but having just come from our first program at this property, they really deserve it. Attendees loved the resort and amenities. The food was terrific, meeting space well thought out, and staff was very attentive.
The best part is, at either Grande Lakes property, you are assigned a "Meeting Butler" who is essentially at your beck and call. We joked that ours was like your grandmother following you around encouraging you to eat. It was a nice touch and we really felt that the hotel cared about the staff's well-being in addition to the guests.
I would book here again in a heartbeat. Oh, another plus (for us at least) is that you are close to the airport...and there's not a hint of theme parks anywhere on property.
For those who need onsite activities, they have fly fishing, kayaking, a great spa, amazing pools and golf.

Love this property and staff. Have always had a fabulous experience. The staff truly goes above and beyond! The meeting space is great and will continue to utilize when available and meets our needs.

Beautiful hotel, but our on-site event manager was MIA during most of the planning period and during the event. She was very difficult to get ahold of, and I received little response to emails and phone messages. The overall event was nice, she only missed a few details considering her neglectfulness prior to the event, we were lucky. But she made the planning process twice as hard as it should have been for us, her client, due to her poor response rate.

Property has relation with connecting Ritz Carlton. Option available to have events on both properties. On site golf and spa. Nearby to all ...Disney, Universal, etc. Meeting sevices were excellent. I would take another group to this property.
