The InterContinental Chicago, the only downtown hotel with a front entrance on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, offers easy access to upscale shopping and dining, the Navy Pier, Millennium Park, and businesses in the Loop. Its 1920s facade, preserved in a recent renovation, only hints at the luxury inside.
The 790 guest rooms combine the ultimate in Old World elegance and modern sophistication. All command views of the city, and many view Lake Michigan as well. An indoor pool, fitness center, and chic restaurant, bar, and tasting room for wine, cheese, and chocolate appeal to group members and leisure travelers alike.
Meeting planners choose from six ballrooms, including the Greek-influenced Grand Ballroom crowned by a sweeping balcony. Small corporate groups may prefer the Presidential Suite, which gives the most commanding views from the thirty-fifth floor.

The Leadership Conference attendees were thoroughly impressed with the hotel, staff and service. The executive director wrote such a glowing evaluation to my CEO in praise of this hotel and my successful contract negotiations, that it was a fabulous meeting for us all.

The location of this hotel is perfect for the complete Chicago Experience. I would recommend the Historic Tower Rooms. All meeting space is in the Historic tower.
Rooms are more spacious. The hotel usually charges a small premium for these rooms but it is worth it.
