Santa Fe, NM " April 2008 " Stefan Huber was recently named the general manager of the Inn and Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the newest property to join the Destination Hotels & Resorts collection.

Stefan Huber Takes Helm of Santa Fe's Inn and Spa at LorettoHuber (pictured) comes to the Inn from the Fairmont Dallas where he spent 10 years and most recently served as the director of hotel operations. Throughout his career, Huber has been trained in all facets of the hotel industry in locations such as Puerto Rico; Scottsdale, Ariz.; Santa Monica, Calif.; and Coral Gables, Fla. He has spent nine years with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts and four years with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.
Ive worked at a number of amazing properties and destinations but there is something extraordinary and unique about the Inn, Huber said. Im looking forward to seeing the property through its renovation and making Santa Fe our home.
The Inn and Spa at Loretto is in the final stages of a $7.5 million renovation. Enhancements to the property include a new exterior faade, upgrades to meeting rooms, new dcor and design in the restaurant, and guest rooms are amidst a complete renovation with new wall coverings, luxurious bedding, flat screen televisions and much more.
Born in Germany, having spent the majority of his life in Puerto Rico, Huber is fluent in German and Spanish. In addition to earning a bachelor degree in business administration he completed post graduate course work at the School of Hotel Administration in Puerto Rico and attended more than 40 leadership, communication, professional and performance enhancing seminars and conferences.
The 134-room Inn and Spa at Loretto is a boutique hotel in the heart of Santa Fe.
