Iberostar Paraíso Maya offers an all-suite, all-inclusive retreat on Mexico’s Riviera Maya just 30 miles south of Cancún. Part of Iberostar’s Playa Paraíso resort complex, it shares a shopping center, dance clubs, convention center, and 18-hole P.B. Dye–designed golf course with three other Iberostar properties—plus access to the common areas of all seven. Visitors inevitably run out of time before they run out of things to do and see at the s prawling complex.
Guests of the Paraíso Maya arrive in a lobby guarded by stately Mayan figures near a soaring Mayan pyramid bar, comfy Internet corner, chic cigar lounge, buffet restaurant, and five internationally themed eateries. Outside, the Mayan motif centers on a tropical courtyard and playground of pools complete with lazy river, wave pool, lagoon pool, and activities pool. Sun seekers also flock to the natural wonder of Playa Paraíso, a legendary stretch of white-sand beach complete with hammocks and palapas, bar and grill, and pristine Caribbean waters.
Back onshore, a concierge for every wing attends guests of the 434 accommodations. All spacious junior suites, they provide sunken living rooms, cable TV, DVD players, Internet access, and private balconies or patios with hammock swings. For business and social events,the convention center entertains with more than 15,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor space designed to meet the needs of all types of gatherings.

ANTONIO BANDERAS TO BE THE NEW FACE OF IBEROSTAR

IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts, headquartered in Palma de Majorca, and ntonio Banderas, the world renowned actor from Malaga, have signed a three-year collaboration agreement in which Antonio Banderas will be the new face of IBEROSTAR worldwide.
Today IBEROSTAR presents globally the first efforts of this collaboration: a publicity campaign starring Banderas which was filmed at the Grand Hotel Paraíso in Riviera Maya, Mexico, voted the best luxury hotel in Latin America and the Caribbean in 2010 by the users of TripAdvisor.
'On vacation, we're all Stars' is the central theme of the campaign. It's key objective is to demonstrate the importance that Iberostar places on guest satisfaction and the vacation experience.
IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts and the well-known Spanish actor Antonio Banderas have signed a collaboration agreement with Banderas as the new face of the hotel brand worldwide for the next three years.
As the first step in this collaboration, the actor will be the star of IBEROSTAR's new publicity campaign. The campaign was developed by Sra. Rushmore agency and filming took place in Mexico, at the IBEROSTAR Grand Hotel Paraíso, chosen by the users of TripAdvisor as the best luxury hotel in Mexico and the Caribbean in 2010.
With the campaign, "On vacation, we're all Stars" IBEROSTAR aims to reinforce the importance of guest satisfaction and the total vacation experience. At IBEROSTAR, the client plays the leading role in their vacations. They are the star. The star of IBEROSTAR.
Antonio Banderas will also play guide in a virtual tour of one of the IBEROSTAR hotels for an interactive online experience. This unique concept will enable the client to be the leading actor and the real star to create personalized vacations that could become a reality.
The first phase of the 360 degree campaign starring Antonio Banderas will run in IberostarŽs key markets, Spain and the United States, and will include three different TV spots, print materials, outdoor publicity, and the Internet.
According to Luis Herault, Chief Marketing Officer at IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts: "The star in IBEROSTAR's logo is much more than a brand; it reflects our philosophy and conviction that our clients are the real stars." Regarding the agreement with Antonio Banderas, Herault has stated, "Antonio Banderas and IBEROSTAR have many things in common: professionalism commitment to quality and passion for what we do in our respective fields, for this reason we could not have found someone who better represents the values of our company."

IBEROSTATE, Iberostar's property development group, invests over $ 50 million in Riviera Nayarit in order to increase its presence in Mexico
his new project, named IBEROSTATE Litibú, will offer 33 villas, 130 apartments and will result in 300 new jobs
In Mexico, IBEROSTATE is also present in Playa Paraíso with a project build starting in the second semester of 2011 and will create over 300 jobs

IBEROSTATE, Grupo IBEROSTAR's real estate division, has expanded its presence in México through a new development in Riviera Nayarit: IBEROSTATE Litibú. This new residential complex is being marketed from the beginning of 2011 and will finalize all its phases during 2014. This new residential complex will offer a new group of luxury villas and apartments in an exceptional location, surrounded by mountains and the peace and quiet of the Pacific Ocean. IBEROSTATE Litibú will also have direct access to a fantastic golf course designed by the renowned golfer Greg Norman.
IBEROSTATE's investment in this project will exceed million and will present 33 villas and 130 condos. With this new project, the IBEROSTAR Group will generate 700 new jobs.
This complex will join an already existing IBEROSTATE in Mexico, in the heart of the Riviera Maya, investing over 0 million. IBEROSTATE Playa Paraíso is a short distance from Playa del Carmen and Cancún. The build for this site will start the second trimester of 2011 and the properties will be marketed towards the end of 2012.
The properties will be available as a full sale or as part ownerships. A golf course designed by P.B.Dye will also be available, and this project is believed to generate 300 jobs.
Both IBEROSTATE real estate projects will display a 5 star hotel service program, which will also allow the clients to plan their stay online from home. The services available include, a butler, concierge, SPA Access, tennis / paddle courts, private beach club, restaurant, personal shopping, domestic service and transportation from the airport.
IBEROSTATE Golf Villas & Condos represents Grupo IBEROSTA's real estate division and develops luxury residential complexes integrated in golf courses and are located on each of the main vacation resorts. Spanish hotel chain IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts has commissioned Davidelfin to design the new international uniforms The collection, made up of 15 outfits, mirrors the designer's unique creative spirit
Spanish hotel chain IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts has commissioned Davidelfin to design their new look uniforms. The designer, renowned around the world for his limitless capacity for creation and innovation in all his designs, has come up with styles that reflect the hotel chain's unique and personal image to perfection.
David spent several months working on the designs for the exclusive IBEROSTAR by Davidelfin collection which will be worn by more than 21,000, employees in the 15 countries the company is present in.
During the creative phase, the designer visited several of the hotels in the Caribbean and Mediterranean to obtain a first-hand insight into the employees' needs. This enabled him to take in the full sense of the Iberostar spirit and essence, helping him to grasp the full scope of the requirements of both the hotel chain and its staff.
David Delfín, said 'This has been a really thrilling and dynamic project and a real challenge. By working as a team we've managed to create uniforms that are 100% Davidelfin, in keeping with IBEROSTAR'S environment combining creativity and functionality whilst incorporating the needs of the various departments into consideration.'
He adds, 'The garments blend in perfectly, taking on a lighter appearance. Gone are the layers, linings and shoulder pads. They play on appearances, creating optical effects that can be seen close up. Elegant, streamlined blue and white with a nautical touch which adapt perfectly to an urban setting.'
The result is 15 outfits designed for Reception, Restaurant, Pool Bar, Housekeeping, Daytime Entertainment, Evening Entertainment and Spa, which reflect perfectly the IBEROSTAR spirit seen through the contemporary and innovative eyes of Davidelfin. Each of the models created are in keeping with the functional requirements of each job: elegance and comfort for receptionists; lightweight, easy-to-wear styles for chambermaids; flexibility and easy movement for the entertainment teams
all true to the Davidelfin concept and the image and personality of the IBEROSTAR brand.
Renewing the uniforms is part of the ambitious brand strategy the IBEROSTAR Group is currently immersed in.

Their function is twofold: on the one hand they present an image to our customer and also dress our staff. The new uniforms, whose main tone has been created à la carte style and named 'Delfín Blue', will be made in 10 different sizes to ensure that each member of staff looks and feels smart, comfortable, at easy and satisfied.
The new uniforms will be launched simultaneously at selected hotels in Majorca, Budapest and Mexico. They will be tested over a 3 month period to make sure they fit in perfectly with the chain's operations before gradually being introduced to the remaining hotels during the course of 2012.
