Elite Overview

Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six takes its name from its location on the Intra-coastal Waterway in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. What started in 1954 as a humble fueling station for boats grew quickly into a marina, yacht club, and handful of lodgings. Then, in 1965, a 17-story hotel appeared on the 22-acre property. Hailed as a triumph of modern design and engineering, the tower’s crown held one of Florida’s most famous cocktail lounges. Its floor revolved once every 66 minutes for a 360-degree overview of the city and waterways.
Now fresh from a $40-million renovation, the hotel honors its mid-century genesis with sleek designer touches and the latest in technology.
The retro-modern look of the lobby and 384 accommodations extends to 27,000 square feet of meeting space, including the Crystal and Panorama ballrooms, Windows on the Green, boardrooms, conference rooms, and crowning Pier Top—now reserved for group occasions. Delegates can also gather on two waterfront decks and in a grand courtyard flanked by a three-pool tropical oasis.
The choice of restaurants and lounges includes Grille 66 & Bar for seafood, pasta, and steaks; The Lounge for lunch and dinner plus small
bites at the bar; Mariners for breakfast; Pelican Landing for cafe dining at the marina; and Orchids Pool Bar for casual fare by day and cocktails and tapas at night.
