Claiming 40 acres on Kaanapali Beach, Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa brims with lush tropical gardens and scenic Pacific Ocean vistas. The setting alone creates all the magic a planner could ask for. Add eight restaurants and lounges, 806 serene guest accommodations, a variety of event venues, recreation galore, and the resort emerges as an exceptional choice for gatherings on Hawaii's Valley Isle.
Outdoors, 75,000 square feet of function space offers moods to suit any occasion. Halona Kai, with its koi-stocked lagoon, offers an artful setting for cocktails in the plumeria-scented air. A dinner party for 20 might take place in the Lahaina Gardens, overlooking the graceful swans inhabiting the Swan Court Lagoon. The Napili Garden and Lawn encompasses 30,000 square feet of space. It lends itself to lively theme parties for up to 2,000 guests, mere steps from the Pacific Ocean. Indoors, planners choose from five meeting rooms, two ballrooms, and a boardroom. For the largest events, the Monarchy and Regency Ballrooms combine to form the Grand Ballroom.
Participants bringing families along appreciate the many kid-friendly activities: the beach; Camp Hyatt; the Keiki Lagoon; an adventure pool with 150-foot lava tube water slide; the Drums of the Pacific Polynesian Luau; and cultural activities. In their own spare time, participants may enjoy treatments at Spa Moana, nightly astronomy sessions, island golf, and the galleries and shops of nearby Lahaina Town.
Planner Reviews
I compliment them on one of the most impressive staffs I have seen at any of the hotels I have ever used.
