Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa's 400 acres of rugged Texas splendor puts business travelers in the ideal mindset for creative and productive meetings. Though the resort rests in seclusion on the hilly banks of the Colorado River, it waits just minutes from downtown Austin, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and historic Bastrop.

One highlight of the 65,000 square feet of indoor meeting space is the elegantly appointed Lost Pines Ballroom. Its mezzanine balconies evoke the feeling of a Texas opera house, paying tribute to the area's cultural heritage. Outside, 230,000 square feet of lawns, terraces, and an open-air amphitheater, all with panoramic river, pool, or golf-course views, invite guests to mingle and enjoy live entertainment in the fresh pine-scented air.

A full-service business center lends meeting support, as do the on-site meeting planners, audiovisual specialists, and talented banquet and catering crew. Meals for groups might include a breakfast of Texas Steak ‘N Eggs or Austin Quiche. Lunch might consist of a Lone Star Cookout or boxed lunch, a good option to accompany such team-building activities as
the ropes challenge course or river rafting.

Individual recreation includes golf on the 18-hole Arthur Hills–designed course, horseback riding, floating in the Crooked River pool or rafting down the Texas Colorado River. Workouts at the fitness center and treatments at Spa Django bring out the best in every guest. Following a full day of work or play, group members retire to the 491 spacious rooms, sumptuously crowned by Hyatt's pillowy Grand Bed.

Our group had a fantastic meeting at this property in the Fall 2009. Great and easy access from the Austin airport. The hotel layout worked well for us and the outdoor function space was a wonderful way for us to wrap up with our celebration brunch. There are great walking paths along the river for our attendees to enjoy their free time, as well. The food and beverage was outstanding and our CSM made sure all details were covered. There is definitely a culture of service at this hotel - they take pride in their hotel and their jobs and it shows. We have re-booked for 2013! We look forward to returning!

The atmosphere at the resort was very conducive to group interaction and learning. The resort maintains a relaxing environment and offered many things to do for everyone.

The meeting space and presentation of food was A+.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

Lost Pines provided a unique setting for my leadership conference. I especially enjoyed taking advantage of the ropes course, which many of my colleagues are still talking about. We were also lucky enough to have all of our meal functions outdoors and the atmosphere of Lost Pines is gorgeous. Only utilizing the property for my group, I look forward to bringing my family back to enjoy the other onsite amenities (especially the lazy river).
