The Choptank River on Maryl and's Eastern shore provides a scenic setting for Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa & Marina. Spanning 342 acres, the region's premier four-diamond resort boasts an 18-acre nature preserve as well as a generous 42,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space. Opened in 2002, the six-story property completed a revitalization in April 2009. The project installed modern design elements throughout the resort, while preserving the hotel's Eastern Shore ambience.
