A tank of pulsing jellyfish highlights the Hotel Victor's V Bar and Lounge, one of the countless mesmerizing touches furnished by Parisian designer Jacques García. Built on Ocean Drive in the art deco era, today's Miami Beach hotel reopened in 2005 next to the former Versace mansion. García's transformation came with sizzling colors and sensual fabrics, languorous floor-to-ceiling curtains, and theatrical lighting inside and out.
Style-conscious incentive and executive groups find their dreams come true. Along with a supremely indulgent spa and fitness center—and vibe managers and DJs to orchestrate the mood in all public areas—the Hotel Victor supplies a fully wired boardroom, office support, and even access to casting and production facilities. Friends and colleagues look forward to breaks at the second-floor pool area's bar and lounge—where a raised, rimless pool overlooks the ocean—or the Ice Bar off the lobby, where the frozen bar countertop keeps the vodka and ceviche cold. They might also gather at Bice, which specializes in international comfort foods with a South Beach twist.
Outside, a private elevator rises to a 4,000-square-foot penthouse ideal for VIP parties. It features a gourmet kitchen, an outdoor Jacuzzi and entertainment areas, and 360-degree views of South Beach. In fact, every accommodation offers generous space and views along with plasma and LCD panel TVs, DVD and CD players, appointments by García, open bathrooms with infinity-edge soaking tubs, outdoor rain showers, and lucky bamboo plants.
Hotel Victor is one of my favorite properties in Miami. I've worked with the hotel's event team for everything from intimate gatherings to large parties with fantastic results that leave our clients thrilled. I recommend them in every way.
