Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
At the heart of Salzburg's city center and social life since 1866, the grand Hotel Sacher Salzburg rests on the right bank of the Salzach River. Views of the Festung Hohensalzburg and spires of Old Town set off the traditional furnishings in 113 guest rooms. All individually appointed, the rooms and suites boast original paintings, fine carpets, and sumptuous wall coverings along with flat-screen TVs, DVD players, iPod docking stations, and WLAN.
Dining choices include the gourmet restaurant Zirbelzimmer, the Rotor Salon along the river promenade, and the Café Sacher Salzburg—which serves Austria's most famous pastry, the original Sacher torte, in a typical Austrian coffee house atmosphere. Groups gathered for business or banquets meet in the Wintergarden conservatory or Salon Karajan, both divisible into a variety of configurations for up to 140 delegates.
