Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
Whether guests’ luggage contains business suits, bathing suits, or wetsuits, The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel treats them to a quintessential Southern California experience. The AAA four-diamond property fronts Pacific Coast Highway along eight and a half miles of surf and sand at Huntington Beach—a.k.a. Surf City USA.
Groups of up to 400 people meet in 21,500 square feet of flexible conference space. The venues range from two ocean-view ballrooms to a brand-new videoconferencing room and a live-and-work meeting and hospitality suite on the penthouse floor. Outside, the abundance of event spaces takes even further advantage of the ocean air and sound of the surf. Behind the scenes, the conference and culinary teams aim for perfection every time out, whether for a general assembly, board meeting, buffet lunch, plated dinner, or cookout on the beach.
For most delegates, free time starts with local sports like surfing or Boogie Boarding—or simply tanning on the beach. Guests also flock to the restaurants, pool and cabanas, fitness center, tennis and sand volleyball courts, and bikes for beach, boardwalk, and trail rides. At the end of the day, they settle into a choice of 290 ocean-view guest rooms, including 24 suites with wraparound balconies. Everyone appreciates the top-quality bedding, flat-panel TVs, in-room voicemail, wired and wireless Internet access, and Herman Miller desk chairs for the productively inclined.
