When it comes to events, Hilton Waikoloa Village can do it all, from trapeze artists flying across the Lagoon Lanai to skydivers landing on the Lagoon Beach, fireworks exploding overhead, and orchids falling from the sky. A pioneer among world-class resorts in Hawaii, and one of the premier meeting and convention resorts in the Pacific, the 62-acre playground combines state-of-the-art business with authentic Polynesian pleasures on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii.
The Big Island resort accommodates groups of almost any size, with pricing options to meet most budgets, thanks to the greatest amount of meeting space on the island and the largest number of guest rooms. Planners select from more than 60,000 square feet of indoor venues, including 21 event rooms, and 175,000 square feet of outdoor space, including 10
dedicated areas. Continuous improvements over the last 22 years ensure the latest in professional lighting, audiovisuals, and communications. At the same time, the decor of authentic island motifs, staff infused with aloha, lush gardens, exotic wildlife, tranquil waterways, and cascading waterfalls ensure an indelible sense of place.
Guests not meeting or celebrating as a group divide their time between eight diverse restaurants, the Legends of the Pacific dinner show and luau, eight lounges, three pools and a four-acre saltwater lagoon, two championship golf courses, an 18-hole putting course, eight tennis courts, 21 shops, and the 25,000-square-foot Kohala Spa.
Our experience with Hilton Waikoloa Village was exceptional throughout the planning and execution of the conference. We were so pleased that three months later we signed a contract to return.

Hilton Waikoloa is a great property for a meeting or conference. The hotel is technically superior to many properties, so it is a great option for technical meetings. The staff is wonderful to work with and will make sure your event is a success.

The staff of the conference nicknamed this hotel the Hilton Walk-a-lotta. There are 3 different towers of rooms that can be accessed by strolling the museum walkway, cruising on a mahogany canal boat or relaxing on an air-conditioned tram. The meeting space was abundant. The hotel has a lagoon beach, 2 pools, a grand staircase that leads to the lagoon, Dolphin Quest, shops, lounges, restaurants, and a spa.
I stayed in the Lagoon Tower. My only complaint was the number of birds that started to chirp/sing around 5:00 AM in the trees located in the middle of the tower.
This property will always be memorable to me because this was the first conference I worked, there were only 3 of us on staff, and it was my first trip to Hawaii. I was in charge of rooming (for 900+ attendees) while my boss was in charge of transportation. When I wasn\'t busy with rooming, I was running through the hotel to assist my boss with our delegate\'s arrivals. The day after our major arrival day, I awoke with a swollen ankle and couldn\'t walk. I hopped on one leg down to the tram to take it to our staff room in the convention center. When I got there, I found out that my boss asked the hotel for their help in getting me to the staff room so the hotel sent two people in a golf cart to pick me up at my room. The hotel staff were phenomenal.

Hilton Waikoloa Village Unveils Renovations to Exclusive Luxury Suites
Posted 07 Jul, 2011 by Shameka Alford
Hilton Waikoloa recently completed a $1 million renovation to the Naupaka and Nai’a suites, the most luxurious suites and the crown of the accommodations available at Hilton Waikoloa Village. Perfect for discriminating travelers that require personal attention, these two suites have been exclusive to select visitors since the resort’s opening in 1988.
Famed Hawaiian design firm, Wimberly, Allison, Tong & Goo envisioned the suites as the legendary seaside home of Naupaka, an ancient Hawaiian princess who is said to await the return of her long lost love Kaui and whose pure white flower can be found throughout the resort. Overlooking the Dolphin Quest lagoon, the suites pay homage to the Nai’a, meaning dolphin in Hawaiian, which is reflected in the colors woven throughout the interior.
Upon entry, the two suites feature a spectacular two-story lagoon view. Soft celadon and aqua tones in the fabrics and artwork complement the breathtaking view of the clear blue Pacific Ocean. Handsome wood entry doors are carved with a modern Polynesian motif to symbolize a “place of importance” for guests. A crystal chandelier and dramatic decorative grill add to the grandeur in the foyer below. Rich wood floors add warmth, color and a residential feel to the space. Translucent silver accents in accessories and finishes reflect the tones of the moonlight dancing on the lagoon just outside the suites. Hand looped wool rugs with crisp patterned leaf forms add a touch of richness underfoot. In addition to the placement of a whirlpool bathtub and sauna, pebbled cast art glass and mother of pearl accents in the master bath add an elegant glow and charm. The carefully woven headboard flanked by glowing capiz shell wall sconces adds to the atmosphere of island luxury. Additionally, the suites now feature a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, refrigerator and the latest kitchen accessories.
In addition to redesigned interiors, renovations include a complete redesign of exteriors, including outdoor installation of a private Jacuzzi, exclusive outdoor dining area and beautiful new tile work.

Webcam allows family and friends to witness weddings live from remote locations
KOHALA COAST, HAWAII'S BIG ISLAND (2010) - For over a decade Hilton Waikoloa Village has been leading the way in technology offerings on Hawaii's Big Island. Recently, the property has invested considerable resources in network and service upgrades to build on the current high-tech systems already available.
Hilton Waikoloa Village is proud to present new services that leverage our high-speed Internet infrastructure and technical expertise.
