(June 27, 2011) – As a token of appreciation and gratitude for its $10,000 donation to assist supply victims of last month’s devastating tornadoes in Alabama, the state’s Governor, Dr. Robert Bentley, presented the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa with a Humanitarian Award on behalf of the Alabama Dermatology Society, one of the resort hotel’s longstanding clients. The plaque, inscribed with an outline of the State of Alabama, reads “Humanitarian Award to the Hilton Sandestin Beach with sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude for your contribution to the Alabama Relief Fund” and is currently on display at the hotel’s lobby.
