Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel holds court on the sunny Kohala Coast of Hawaii. It shares a tradition of first-class hospitality and 1,839 acres with the legendary Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. While Hapuna treats groups to the Big Island’s top-rated beach—plus over 110,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, an 18-hole golf course, five restaurants and lounges, and 350 accommodations—signing privileges connect guests to another 58,000 square feet of event space, a second 18-hole golf course, a comprehensive tennis complex, and five more restaurants and lounges at the Mauna Kea.
Of the two resorts, Hapuna claims the lion’s share of indoor meeting space. Its conference center provides an 8,000-square-foot courtyard and breezeway leading to a prefunction area and ballroom for up to 900 guests. Six breakout rooms seat up to 240 attendees, while two executive boardrooms seat 14 and 40. All meeting rooms come with T1 lines and Wi-Fi, advanced audiovisual capability, and a dedicated conference staff. Open-air venues include a sheltered dining pavilion and the vast Kohala Gardens, pool terrace, and Ocean Terrace Lawn.
Popular themes for parties range from the Chefs of Hawaii to the Psychedelic ‘70s to a Symphony Under the Stars. Guests with time to spare can sample such other incentives as Hapuna’s Paul Brown Salon & Spa, the Mauna Kea Spa by Mandara, world-class golf, tennis, and ocean sports galore.
