Yuppie " Young Urban Professional. This was the first thought I had as I walked into the graves 601 hotel. From the outside, the building resembles most of the other downtown buildings. Walk through the doors and find yourself surrounded by modern, sophisticated art and luxury, however, I still felt the warmth and comfort that I want to find when away from home. This is truly one of the most eclectic and artistic properties I have stayed at in my travels. Graves Hospitality launched this new hotel brand in 2005 and the Graves 601 Hotel in Minneapolis is their flagship hotel.

The hotel is a fusion of art, technology, luxury and warmth that has been achieved through sleek lines, neutral colors and soft furnishings accented with indirect or colored gel lighting. Guestrooms have all the technology that is needed to communicate in todays world with a wireless digital keyboard to control music, movies, and Internet access, a 42 plasma screen TV in the room and a 10 LED flat screen TV in the bathroom. All the luxuries from Egyptian cotton Frette duvets and linens, feather pillows, turndown service which includes bathrobes and slippers to the Hermes soap, the power shower featuring five body jets and rain shower and an exquisite glass washbasin perched on a limestone table, propel you into the 21st century.
