When the Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville opened in April 2009, small groups had a perfect place to meet near the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. The hotel's style—that of a Tudor hunting lodge complete with stone floor and fireplace, carved oak millwork, and antlered guest-room lamps—honors the neighboring Biltmore Estate, built by George Vanderbilt in 1890 as the largest and, some say, most gracious home in America.
In contrast, the hotel's boutique size provides just 104 rooms and suites, an indulgent spa, fitness center, gourmet restaurant, and 5,000 square feet of meeting space. Events gather in the Bí¶sendorfer Salon, adjacent Kessler Ballroom, Black Forest Wine Room, Bavarian Boardroom, and tented Tyrolean Terrace. An executive business center and modern meeting technology and support blend seamlessly into the Old World atmosphere and style.
