My overall experience of this property is a solid C. The location is far from everywhere without having enough onsite food outlets and activities. The property's beach is unswimmable, which was a huge disappoint. And while it's all-inclusive, there were not enough restaurant options to satisfy for more than one or two days. I had high hopes for this resort. It does have a nice spa. Overall staff was cool and not welcoming.

I'm a former pharmaceutical sales rep for Berlex Laboratories (now Bayer). We stayed at this hotel as a reward for hitting our sales targets. What an unbelievable treat! The property is magnificent upon arrival. We felt like royalty and it was the most memorable meeting I experienced in my ten year career. Many employees arrived earlier or stayed later to explore the island.

The friendliness and professionalism of the entire Gran Melia staff is to be commended for delivering an above and beyond Customer Experience for the TD Puerto Rico incentive program! We were able to deliver a seamless, flawless execution due in no small way...to your passionate and dedicated staff. What separates the real world class hospitality organizations from the main stream...is how they react under pressure with a large group and a large number of spontaneous requests. On this front your entire front line and back of the house was nothing short of awesome! We look forward to working with the Gran Melia team in the future. Keep Smiling!
