The sheer magnitude and focus on conferences at Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center make it one of the Orlando area's best bets for business events of all descriptions.
For starters, the Conference Center seats over 20,000 attendees or accommodates over 1,000 trade show booths on its first floor. Three more levels add a trio of flexible ballrooms (medium, huge, and gigantic) and 61 breakout rooms for every purpose. Meanwhile, boutique lodgings and meeting facilities under the Emerald Bay banner cater to VIP incentive and corporate events.
Gaylord Hotels thought of virtually everything to ensure a productive and enjoyable stay for conference goers. The leisure options only begin with golf, pampering at a luxury spa, and exploring Florida-themed environments like the Everglades, Key West, and St. Augustine under a soaring 4.5-acre glass dome.

Fantastic event property. Meeting space is large but well laid out. Smaller in size from the large Opryland property does make this easier on attendees to located meeting space. Restaurants are nice. Close proximity to Disneyland is a plus. Conference staff was excellent and very attentive. Sales team was also great during contract negotiations. Hotel was always excellent at taking care of our concerns. Great nice quality venue for a large group that you want to keep in-house.

Top-tier convention services staffing. Outstanding banquet F&B. Close to amusement parks but not "themed and kitchy." Undergoing complete renovation of room product. Adding new pool complex and sports bar outlet.

I held three meetings at this venue in the past 3 months - a Sales meeting (600 attendees), a Senior Leaderhsip Meeting (70 attendees) and a Users Conference (2800 attendees utilizing an overflow option). The Gaylord Palms is one of my favorite all-time venues for corporate events. The staff (both Sales and Conf Svcs) that we worked with to create the event as well as the onsite front line staff are all fabulous. It's obvious why they are referred to as Stars!!

Great property for large groups. Destination attracts program attendees. The meeting space is expansive and the foyers are excellent for holding breaks without impeding traffic. The ballrooms and breakout meeting rooms are well sized and have high ceilings - there is good natural light in the meeting space. Drawback to the property is that rooms are a hike from the meeting space and if your attendees want to check email between sessions, you may want to consider setting up a cyber cafe. Love working with Gaylord CSM's (teal coats) they are empowered to get things done which helps if you have a lot of moving parts in your programs.
