Francis Marion Hotel

Named for the “Swamp Fox” of Revolutionary War fame, the Francis Marion Hotel, a fixture in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, since 1924, gained new life in 1996 following a $12 million historic renovation. The only high-rise hotel in the historic district features dramatic harbor views and elegant decor throughout its 232 guest rooms and suites, which include pedestal sinks, marble baths, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Hotel amenities include the Spa Adagio Day Spa and a fitness center.
