FIESTA AMERICANA GRAND CORAL BEACH CANCUN TO BUILD NEW, WORLD-CLASS SPA

CANCUN, Mexico (September 05, 2008) - The Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach Cancun, a fifteen-year recipient of the AAA Five Diamond Award and member of The Leading Hotels of the World, has long been recognized as a property of distinction throughout Mexico and the Caribbean. Now, the 602-suite, oceanfront, all-suite resort plans to further enhance its award-winning accommodations and amenities with a new, 40,000 square-foot spa.

Heading the new culinary team of the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach is Eric Scuiller. Chef Eric began his career in France as a young man at the age of 16 at the Chaptal Culinary College Quimper in Brittany. He was made a Maitre Cuisinier de France in 1999 and is recognized amongst the best French Chefs of the world by Master Chefs of France.

His experience is very impressive and includes positions of Executive Chef at Ballys Casino Resort Las Vegas, Paris Casino Resort Las Vegas, the Beverly Hills in California and his most recent post since 2005 as Executive Chef of the Ritz Carlton in Grand Cayman. Chef Eric is fluent in French, English and Spanish and his passion is "cooking as it was a quarter of a century ago, I just do it better now" says he with a smile.

Assisting Chef Scuiller, is Christophe Piat Executive Sous Chef, whose international experience at restaurants "Le Jules Vernés " recognized with two Michellin stars in Paris and "Le Marquiz " AAA 5 Diamond award in the United States, gives support to this high quality team. He was also in charge of 5 specialties restaurants as Executive Chef in Vila Sol Golf and Spa Resort in Portugal prior to coming to Cancun.

Joining the culinary team is Pastry Chef Yves Revelley, a native of the French speaking Switzerland. His experience in the best pastry establishments in Switzerland and abroad have given him the insight to the most delightful and delicious pastries worldwide.
He is also passionate for his profession and has already heightened the pastry offer of the F. A. Grand Coral Beach to top European standards. Yves has worked at the Hilton Ecuador as Pastry Chef and joins us from the Ritz Carlton in Santiago de Chile.

This team of professionals as well as Sous Chef Francisco Flores of the Le Basilic AAA Five Diamond Restaurant, promises to further enhance the fine reputation of food at the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach.
