Montreal's stately Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth never wants for company, thanks to more than 40 civic festivals and celebrations each year. In fact, with 1,039 well-appointed guest rooms, including 100 suites, this 50-year-old landmark frequently makes history, as it did when Beatle John Lennon and Yoko Ono staged their famous 1969 “bed-in” for peace in suite 1742 and seven years later when it served as the headquarters for the 1976 Summer Olympics.
Unlike most Montreal premier hotels, Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth was designed and built to host corporate events, with a generous 46,500 square feet of flexible event space and 23 versatile function rooms that can accommodate up to 2,000 for dinner. No visit would be complete without a stroll through the distinctive French shops, galleries, and bistros of Old Montreal.

I have held several meetings at this property and can honestly say, the experience was phenomenal. Everyone tries very hard and excels at meeting and over achieving expectations.
I would never hesitate to use this property again.

This property was great for a smaller group (50 people). The staff was very attentive and able to accommodate last minute function space changes. I would use this hotel again and recommend it highly
