In the heart of Mexico’s Riviera Maya, Fairmont Mayakoba provides a dramatic backdrop for meetings and incentive trips. Nestled on 45 acres of mangrove forest and crystal-clear waterways within a luxurious resort community, this Riviera Mayan hideaway fuses modern business facilities with stunning natural surroundings and Mayan mystique.

The resort’s 40,000 square feet of meeting space, set steps from the Caribbean Sea, offers a multitude of flexible venues. Inside, the 10,000-square-foot Riviera Grand Ballroom is ideal for state-of-the-art presentations and grand banquets, while the 13,000-square-foot Isla Event Lawn hosts outdoor events. Also onsite, several executive boardrooms and a business center.

Lanchas, or covered boats, provide transportation between the resort’s 401 guestrooms, three restaurants and four pools. Electric golf carts, bicycles and meandering trails also allow
easy access between resort amenities.

Area recreation abounds, including trips to Xcaret Wildlife Reserve and the Mayan ruins at Chichen-Itza. Teambuilding activities include a forest zip line, cave diving, horseback riding, and every watersport imaginable along Riviera Maya’s string of beaches. Mayan-inspired treatments at the Willow Stream Spa or a round of golf at El Camaleón, the first Mexican course to host the PGA Tour, occupy additional downtime. Designed around a network of crystal clear waterways, Fairmont Mayakoba encompasses 45 acres within a master-planned luxury community that includes an 18-hole Greg Norman golf course. Fairmont Mayakoba offers 40,000 square feet of meeting space (27,000 square feet indoor and 13,000 square feet outdoor) and 401 rooms and suites. Approximately twenty per cent of the guestrooms are located in a more traditional hotel setting interconnected low-rise buildings (3-4 storeys in height). The property also features a collection of 90 casitas with 2 to 4 rooms each.

Caf Maya
From sunrise to sunset this market caf serves mouth-watering pastries, classic deli favourites, gourmet coffees and ice cream. Caf Maya also stocks supplies for our in-room refreshment centres - guests can browse for themselves or order for delivery. Caf Maya is also the perfect place to pick up unique culinary souvenirs like Mexican seasonings and hotel pottery as well as handy selection of sundries. Terrace seating is available.

Willow Stream Spa
A 37,000 square foot Willow Stream spa features 20 treatment rooms including a unique couple's suite in the treetops, plus two mineral pools and steam rooms. A carefully crafted menu of services includes distinctive treatments some of which incorporate indigenous ingredients and ancient native traditions. A full-service Fitness Center and Beauty Salon are also offered.

Golf
El Camalen
Managed by Fairmont, the 18-hole, par 72 The Golf Club at Mayakoba is Greg Norman's masterpiece. Water comes into play throughout this course with two holes designed around captivating seaside features. The clubhouse includes a pro shop, bag storage, restaurant and bar.
Lessons: El Camalen offers a state-of-the-art practice and learning center.

Transportation
Several air carriers and charters offer direct services to Cancun International Airport

Distance from the Cancun International Airport to resort:
Fairmont Mayakoba is located approximately 42 miles/ 68 kilometers / 40 minutes from the airport.
Roadway & Distance
Highway 307 runs straight down the coast from Cancun. The section between Cancun and Playa del Carmen (51km/32 miles) then Mayakoba is a four-lane divided highway with speed limits up to 110 kmph (68 mph). There are a couple of traffic lights and several reduced-speed zones around the major turnoffs.

Car Rental
Cars can be rented upon arrival at the Cancun International Airport.

Taxi
Taxis are available from the airport and can be arranged through the resort concierge.
