Once the site of the Black family’s premier thoroughbred horse farm, Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa presides over 9.5 acres of coastal terrain in sunny La Jolla, California. The hotel pays homage to the setting’s early-California equestrian heritage everywhere from its Spanish colonial architecture to its landscape of gardens, courtyards, and outdoor fireplaces.
The only AAA Four Diamond Award–winning and IACC-certified property in Southern California, Estancia La Jolla excels at facilities groups appreciate, from the full-service spa and fitness center to the heated courtyard pool and whirlpool, two dining venues, and 210 well-appointed accommodations. Like everything at the property, guest rooms aim to nurture the senses. High-back reading chairs with leather ottomans, Italian linens, and plush comforters draped with equestrian blankets provide pampering counterparts to such thoughtful business features as complimentary wireless Internet access and work desks.
Purpose-built for successful outcomes, the Learning Center holds over 21,500 square feet of conference space. It includes a 125-seat amphitheater, the nearly 6,000-square-foot La Jolla Ballroom, and executive boardrooms with ergonomically designed chairs. An additional 8,000 square feet of outdoor space allows groups to take advantage of San Diego’s ever-agreeable climate.
Meeting professionals engage attendees with such fun-filled team-building activities as the Rod Iron Chef cooking challenge and the Build a Boat and Hope it Floats regatta. The area’s wide assortment of recreation lends itself to off-site team building as well—at the nearby Torrey Pines Golf Course, Torrey Pines Nature Reserve, La Jolla and Del Mar beaches, SeaWorld, and at San Diego’s many other year-round attractions.
Everything was handled professionally and expediently. So much stress was taken away from me that I can't put into words how relieved I felt.

Groups that meet at this property respond very positively on their evaluations. The hotel has very comfortable rooms with great extras --- such as the oversize bathrooms and the balconies. The spa is an extra added treat for those who have the time to enjoy a service.
The meeting space is great for programs that are somewhat space intensive. The conference center set-up in the rooms is an extra bonus.

A good property for a mid-size group. A relaxing environment for a consolidated program that does not have a lot of breakouts. Conference staff easy to work with and very responsive. A better property for smaller groups - my executives liked this property for a two day forum we had here.

Estancia La Jolla was referred to me by a friend whose company had received more positive responses about the hotel than any other meeting facility they'd used. I have to agree.
