Located in a residential area, Estancia manages to project a southwestern resort feeling once on-site. It is well suited for a small to medium-size group, with a sense of "owning" the property.

Groups that meet at this property respond very positively on their evaluations. The hotel has very comfortable rooms with great extras --- such as the oversize bathrooms and the balconies. The spa is an extra added treat for those who have the time to enjoy a service.

The meeting space is great for programs that are somewhat space intensive. The conference center set-up in the rooms is an extra bonus.

A good property for a mid-size group. A relaxing environment for a consolidated program that does not have a lot of breakouts. Conference staff easy to work with and very responsive. A better property for smaller groups - my executives liked this property for a two day forum we had here.

LA JOLLA, California (April 2, 2008) - Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa, managed by Destination Hotels and Resorts, has partnered with San Diego Golf to launch a convenient new way for visitors to book golf reservations in "real-time". The first of its kind in San Diego, the sensory retreat, located less than two miles from the world-renown Torrey Pines Golf Course, is offering guests the ability to reserve tee-times for their favorite sport, at eleven top courses in San Diego County, online either from home or from their guestroom.
