Conrad Chicago epitomizes the visionary style and sophistication that transformed the hardworking Chicago waterfront into the Magnificent Mile and pioneered its architectural signature, the skyscraper. Ensconced in the McGraw-Hill Building, an art deco landmark dating back to 1929, Conrad Chicago blends genuine Midwestern hospitality, sophisticated design, and skyline views into a guest experience uniquely its own.

Contemporary residential decor creates an urban élan within the hotel’s 311 luxury guest rooms, which include 37 suites, four with expansive outdoor terraces. Guests enjoy comfort and convenience at every turn, from the Pratesi bedding and enticing deep-soaking tubs to the very latest in audiovisual electronics for work and entertainment.

Tech-savvy spaces and signature Conrad service make the hotel’s 13 meeting rooms both productive and comfortable. The Magnolia Ballroom best suits corporate events and banquet dining, while the seasonal fifth-floor Terrace at Conrad sets the perfect mood for casual business tête-à-têtes and after-hours socializing. For dining at leisure, delegates might head to The Restaurant at Conrad for American cuisine with Midwest style. Between meetings, group members appreciate enclosed access to The Shops at North Bridge, which counts Nordstrom, Armani, and Hugo Boss among its 50 upscale retail outlets. Plus, the concierge will happily customize itineraries that include Chicago’s most famous attractions.

The hotel has a covered walk way to Nordstrom which is handy for chilly CHicago winters. The hotel is a little confusing upon arrival. You enter and immediately have to go up a eleavtor to the lobby not clearly marked.

As far as I am concerned. This is the best hotel in all of Chicago. Service is terrific. If you stay there once--everyone, including the bell hop will know your name when you next visit. Food is very personalized. Suites are exceptionally spacious and baths are to die for. Try it
