The location in historic Charleston, South Carolina, lends Charleston Place, an Orient-Express hotel, its authentic air of antebellum charm. The lobby’s soaring staircase and crystal chandeliers introduce hallmarks of elegance and luxury found throughout.

Dozens of breakout rooms and six hospitality suites support truly grand meetings in the Grand Ballroom. A second ballroom, amphitheater, and rooftop terrace contribute further options for groups across the street.

Guest rooms and suites continue the aura of refinement with period-style furnishings, marble baths, and first-class amenities. While a spa, health club, and skylit pool welcome guests between meetings, the posh Charleston Grill fills nights with a four-diamond menu and mellow jazz. Additional incentives range from landmark homes and plantations in the area to Fort Sumter, the South Carolina Aquarium, and Lowcountry golf and beaches.

Excellent property! One of my favorite places to hold meetings / conferences. Hotel is located in the heart of Charleston where there is a lot to do both day and night. Staff very accommodating and always available to meet your requests and needs. Hotel reflects the southern hospitality of Charleston.
