Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
A palette of sand white and Pacific blue bring a relaxed, Southern California ambience to Avalon Hotel Beverly Hills, a retro alternative to meetings-as-usual nestled in the trendsetting Los Angeles fashion district. Designer Kelly Wearstler recreated mid-century design with modern touches in the 82 guest rooms and two executive suites with George Nelson lamps, Isamu Noguchi tables, and chairs inspired by Charles Eames. The Rat Pack would feel right at home around the central hourglass pool.
The Avalon Hotel's newly renovated conference room seats 22 around its oval mahogany conference table or 40 classroom style in Eames-inspired chairs. The Penthouse Terrace accommodates receptions and cocktail parties for 75 in a garden setting with rooftop views. Or, for the quintessential So Cal meeting experience, groups rendezvous at one of Oliverio restaurant's hip poolside cabanas.
