Atlantis, Paradise Island—the largest resort in the Bahamas—recently unveiled a host of new amenities. The billion-dollar expansion includes a conference center that nearly doubles the indoor event space to 200,000 square feet. The new center features the 50,000-square-foot Imperial Ballroom and the 25,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, over 30,000 square feet of prefunction space, plus 33 breakout rooms, five boardrooms, a banquet kitchen, and large staging area. The total of 60 meeting rooms, all furnished with the latest technology, allows Atlantis to accommodate groups of 15 to 4,000. More than 20 distinct outdoor venues, totaling 300,000 square feet, entertain parties of up to 5,000.

The 171-acre property rivals every top meeting and incentive destination worldwide with its 141-acre Aquaventure water park and marine life housed in 11 exhibit lagoons—not to mention 35 restaurants, bars and lounges (including celebrity chef attractions like Nobu Matsuhisa’s Nobu and Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill), the Caribbean’s largest casino, the chic Aura nightclub, 30,000-square-foot Mandara Spa, dolphin interactions at Dolphin Cay, white-sand beaches, and marina. Like everything else at Atlantis, the collection of 3,400 luxurious rooms, suites, and villas promises something to exceed every expectation.

The Cove Atlantis offers a private haven amidst the activity of Atlantis with 600 suites designed to indulge the most sophisticated of VIP tastes. Styled with contemporary flair to complement the surrounding beach, sun, and sea, the suites boast lavish amenities and the latest technologies—plus balconies and floor-to-ceiling water views. The Cove’s exclusive
pool and beach club, Cain at The Cove, offers an adults-only experience with live DJs, open-air gaming, and poolside concierges.

This is a beautiful property. Very family friendly. However, their customer service friendliness and attention to detail is very poor.

Beautiful property, love the fact that you can do everything at the resort, food/restaurants were great, and the theme is unique and inviting!

This is a location we frequented in the past, but its expansion has made it difficult for small groups to stand out.

Have taken groups here twice. Excellent event staff, banquet staff, etc. Can be a hike for some sleeping room locations to meeting sites. The ability to keep everyone on property before, during, after meetings is a great appeal. This is a place many meeting attendees wil revisit on their own, a great testament to the property.

Not our best experience. Preparation was fine but once at the resort, not good communication. Attendees felt too pricey. A place that our attendees did not want to return to.

This hotel never says no however the task is never completed. The meeting space is worn. The conference staff was not helpful on-site. This is quite disappointing as the hotel is spectacular.

This venue is an incredible experience for an incentive trip. This property is huge. There are 3 different lobbies which was a little confusing for my group. You can walk to each lobby but its not very convenient.

The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The customer service is great

Gatherings in Paradise
World-class meeting space. Customized conventions. Breathtaking settings. These distinctive meeting amenities are just as much a part of the experience at Atlantis, Paradise Island as the resorts stylish accommodations, fine restaurants, vibrant casino and marine life interactions. No wonder Atlantis consistently earns rave reviews as the top destination resort in the Caribbean.

With a $1 billion expansion now complete, Atlantis offers unparalleled meeting and conference facilities, including 200,000 square feet of indoor function space and an additional 300,000 square feet of spectacular outdoor settings.
From small groups of 10 to large-scale events for 5,000, Atlantis provides tailor-made experiences for group and incentive travel, product launches, conventions and celebrity events. The resorts new expansion features the impressive 50,000-square-foot Imperial Ballroom, which is the largest in the Caribbean and encompasses more than 30,000 square feet of pre-function space. Thirty new breakout rooms, five boardrooms, a large staging area and a new banquet kitchen accommodate the needs of groups of any size.

Hot Concerts, Cool Artists
For many convention guests, a highlight of their getaway experience is the Atlantis LIVE all-star concert series, featuring exhilarating performances by chart-topping artists.
Following an incredible all-star line-up in 2008 -- including Alanis Morissette, Rob Thomas, the Jonas Brothers, Duran Duran and Fergie -- American Idols Kelly Clarkson kicked off this years concert series, energizing crowds with hits from her multi-platinum albums and her latest No.1 single.
This spring, Atlantis brings back Americas teenage heart-throbs the Jonas Brothers, who will burn up the stage during three exclusive concert weekends. The young trio of Grammy nominees consistently packs the house, delivering powerful pop music to a growing base of enthusiastic fans.

Celebrities Golf for Charity
For the past eight years, Atlantis has had the pleasure of hosting top sports and entertainment celebrities from around the world at the annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational. In January 2009, this high-profile golf tournament raised more than $700,000 to benefit a variety of worthy charities, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the James R. Jordan Foundation and the Butch Kerzner Summit Foundation. All told, this star-studded event has raised nearly $5 million for a variety of important causes.

This year, Michael Jordan was joined by such notable celebs as Spike Lee, Derek Jeter, Bill Clinton, Ken Griffey, Jr., Hillary Duff, Boris Becker, Samuel L. Jackson, James Caan and Ahmad Rashad. As part of this years fundraiser, pop superstar Fergie rocked the stage of the Imperial Ballroom, belting out her popular hit songs Big Girls Dont Cry, Clumsy and Fergilicious.

With breathtaking ocean views and meticulous fairways, Atlantis 18-hole, PGA Championship Ocean Club Golf Course is the ideal locale for the biggest names in sports and showbiz to get together and make a difference.
